Do you offer postpartum support?

Yes!
As your postpartum doula, we will be available to 'mother the mother'. Our goal is to ensure that you and your family are adjusting to your new lives with a newborn. I can help with feeding, light housekeeping, meal prep, assisting with newborn care, sibling care, referrals to local resources, and baby soothing techniques.

How do you deal with complications at birth?

We will support you and your family through any complications that may arise. We will not provide medical interventions or make medical decisions on your behalf. We will provide physical and emotional support for you and your birth team. We will remind you that our goal is for a safe birth for you and your baby. We will be your biggest cheerleaders through any hurdles that may occur during pregnancy or birth.

Placenta Encapsulation

The process for booking your placenta encapsulation is very simple!  Reach out to get booked and we will explain the process step by step.

You can have your placenta encapsulated whether you birth vaginally or by c-section, have an epidural, or induction, etc.

If you are GBS positive or develop an infection during birth, we will steam your placenta before dehydrating.  Bacteria and viruses do not survive the steaming process.

Encapsulating your placenta does not affect delayed cord clamping or cord blood banking.

Does a doula replace nursing staff?

No. A doula is a pregnant person's helper and our job is to support you in having a healthy and safe birth.  We cannot give medical advice, make medical decisions on your behalf, or give medical interventions.  We will help give you evidence based research so that you can make the best decisions for your family.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Contact me for available options.
